It's the Swedish Days Festival in Geneva!

The FOX VALLEY’s favorite summertime festival is here…….the SWEDISH DAYS FESTIVAL!! Head to beautiful Geneva from Tuesday, June 20th, through Sunday, June 25th, for a week full of family fun!  With Kids Events, Food Booths, a carnival and games, music performances, cultural activities, and so much more, there truly is too much for us to try to tell you all the exciting things occurring all week long! Live Entertainment!

 Enjoy incredible live entertainment all week long from musicians, singers, dancers, cultural performers, and more. These incredibly talented individals and groups are sure to put on a fantastic show. Performances take place at the Central Stage (Third Street between James & Campbell Streets) and Courthouse Lawn (100 South Third Street).

Sweden Väst!

Explore all things Swedish on Saturday, June 24th, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday, June 25th, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm! There is a smogsboard of fun on the corner of South Fourth & State Streets. Both days will be filled with activities, Konst (art), Nöje (entertainment), Mat (food), and Gåvor (gifts) for the whole family! Each day is filled with entertainment, art, gifts, food & activities for all.

Parade!

Celebrate another successful Swedish Days Festival at the main event for the week: the 68th Annual Swedish Days Parade. The parade kicks off at 1:00 pm on Sunday, June 25th, in downtown Geneva. Click HERE for the parade map so that you can find the best spot to see all the fun!

St. Charles Festival Of The Fox This Weekend!

Kick off summertime in beautiful St. Charles at the Festival Of The Fox!! Enjoy endless family fun this weekend, Thursday, June 8th, through Sunday, June 11th, throughout St. Charles. We have all the information that you need to make the most of your weekend at this fantastic community event!

 

Thursday, June 8th

Festival Concert in the Park - The Gregory Hyde Band

7:00 pm at Lincoln Park (450 West Main Street)

 

Friday, June 9th

Special Family Day

4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Pottawatomie Park (8 North Avenue)

Enjoy fun activities for D302 and D303 families with special needs including balloon animals, face painting, puppy playpen, inflatables, caricatures, refreshments, and more.   

 

Saturday, June 10th

Entertainment and Activities

8:00 am to 10:00 pm at Pottawatomie Park (8 North Avenue)

The fun takes place all day with kids activities, inflatables, vendor marketplace, community picnic, lawn games, and so much more. Enjoy incredible Live Music from local, regional, and national artists every hour of the day. Be sure to stick around for the screening of Disney’s Moana for Family Movie Night starting at 9:00 pm.

St. Charles Day

10:00 am to 6:00 pm at Baker Memorial Park (Main Street & North 5th Avenue)

Celebrate everything that is best about our great city. Check out the entrees in the “St. Charles in Bloom” decorating contest. Learn more about the history of St. Charles through the activities and crafts put on by the history museum. Take a tour of beautiful Baker Church.
