Fox River Trail



Bike along 30 miles of banks of the Fox River. This great trail provides access to some of your favorite Kane County natural spots and recreational facilities.


Great Western Trail

Get away from it all along this quiet, natural oasis. The trail is approximately 17 miles long. When it isn't used for biking in the summer, snowmobilers enjoy the route after heavy snowfalls.


Illinois Prairie Path

Enjoy 62 miles of biking trails through thousand-year-old prairie lands! Fun fact: the IPP was the country's first successful rail-to-trail conversion!


Virgil L. Gilman Trail

Explore wetlands and marvel at the local environment and wildlife on this beautiful 12-mile trail. It features a beautiful, historic truss bridge that crosses the Fox River.
